Parking is FREE close to shop in designated areas, up to 1 hour and up to 2 hours.

There are dropped kerbs and the shop has level access.

Yep here we go again. Saturday 21 May we welcome Amy Shaw (a QVC presenter) where she will be demonstrating some new Hot products from Stix2 together with some new products from Woodware. Amy will be creating some stunning flowers with the new tissue range from Stix2 and shrinking some lovely stamped images. Join us between 10 am to 4 pm this Saturday for a fun filled, hint and tips day.

Flying start

Well and truly back into 'the groove' with the New Year off to a flying start. Some really good bargains in the sale - check out the web and the shop. The Grand Callibur and grand dies flew out within days of arriving and we are eagerly awaiting the next delivery. (can't come soon enough cos I haven't got mine yet!)

I'm currently up to my neck in wedding invitations etc for my hairdresser, ribbon and butterflies everywhere! still keeps me out of mischief in my 'spare time' (ha ha)

Looking forward to February when we go to the Trade Show to see all the new goodies heading our way and spending lots too, also a couple of days away with no cooking - hurrah.

In the groove . . . .

Well thats it ... Christmas over - what a lot of fuss for a couple of days, how do people get through all that food in an over stuffed trolley, do people not realise that the shops are only shut for a couple of days not a couple of months. Hope you all got what you wanted. I didn't get any crafting goodies at all!! although I did get a couple of Build a Bears - I know I can hear you all saying I'm too old but are you ever really too old for teddy bears and one was chosen by one of our grandaughters which was really nice.

Hopefully the New Year has got off to a good start for you all although it was a bit of a shock having to get up so early to come into work but I suppose we'll be back in the groove by the end of the week.

Just got some new Kanban in with some really beautiful bird toppers, baby toppers etc. Still awaiting the new Calibur which should be in early next week.

Also looking forward to Stitches in February which is the trade show where we find out 'whats new' and available soon, I will keep you posted.

Now that the kids are back at school maybe you can find time to chill and get crafting again.

Christmas past . . . New Year Cravings

Well .. Christmas has almost gone - I hope you all had a good one. We did although I did not enjoy the 300 mile drive to Poole or the drive back mainly through fog. Still there is much to look forward to - New Year which I hope will be good to you all.

I'm looking forward now to the Stitches show in February at Birmingham. This is the trade show where we get to see all the goodies and new products due out in 2011 which will satisfy our crafting cravings.

We are already making plans for the business in the coming year but first lets all have a very Happy and Peaceful Christmas.

Christmas Trading

Online will continue as normal although email replies will take longer, please be patient
Post will be collected by Royal Mail on 30 December and will resume to normal service on 4 January

Shop - will close at 12 noon 23 December and will re-open 10am - 3pm on 3 January and revert to normal hours on Tuesday 4 January 2011

PLEASE NOTE - Vat will increase from 17.5% to 20% at midnight on 3 January
All online orders prior to 4 January and our shop till 3pm on 3 Janaury will be at 17.5% Vat
The Vat changes hit everyone, we will, as always, ensure the best prices we can when the increases are implemented.

Demo dilemma???

No dilemma - Success for Kim Sutton at Card Craft UK.

It was another successful demo day on Saturday 11th December with Kim demonstrating her very own inventive, inspirational templates. We all had some fun too - thank you Kim. Hope to see you back here again next year.

Christmas is coming .....

Hi all

'Weather' or not you have been snowed in I hope you have all finished or well on the way with your Christmas cards - as I have (NOT). I have done about 50 so still quite a lot to do, best get on with it as it will be here sooner rather than later.

I have had a very productive day today with something to look forward to next year - - I have booked two more 'free' demos in the shop with the very inventive, inspirational Lindsay Mason!. The first one on Saturday 9th April and the second one on Saturday 1st October. These demos are the first of many for next year as negotiations are under way.

Hi all

Just thought I'd let you know that we've just received some new embossing folders from Creative Expressions that are very popular, they are a larger size than the standard Cuttlebug and Kars embossing folders and as it so cold and horrible out there I thought I would just 'have a play'. Also due any day new embossing folders from Crafts Too which are rather nice - can't wait to get my hands on these. Hope they will be here for the weekend so I can play on Sunday although I really must start my christmas shopping. I am one step ahead this year having done quite a lot of my cards as I left it far too late last year and didn't start them until well into December. Tut tut I hear you say.

I even managed to get details in for our last Free Demo before Christmas. Why did I not do this sooner? there have been so many demo's in the shop during the last few months. I guess we all have to start somewhere, I can't wait to get the start of the Blog complete then get down to some serious crafting.
